Este es  un libro esencial para cualquier persona que desee desarrollar software no importan si eres solamente un desarrollador o un arquitecto de software, este libro ayudará mucho, enseñará muchas nuevas cosas sobre cómo mejorar tu proceso del desarrollo del software, en pocas palabras la metodología ágiles abrirá los ojos a otros horizontes jamás antes pensados.

Leí este libro hace algunos años y finalmente tengo algún tiempo para escribir un review, este es un libro realmente útil para todos los  que deseen comenzar en el mundo de la programación PHP orientada al desarrollo de Web, todo el proceso de aprendizaje del libro es realizado con buena teoría y práctica, y con ejemplos reales del uso diario y no con ejemplos fáciles que no ayudarán al aprendizaje.

I recommend this book for everyone who wants to know everything about security in Java applications. I like "Chapter 1: Security by Default" and "Chapter 2: Basics of Security", they are a good introduction to security concepts.I found in this book a better way to express what I always think about the way some sysadmins take care of security,... they only pay attention to application security!

Everyone in the Linux world should know about Robert Love, he's a great hacker. I read some articles he wrote in Linux Journal Magazine and I saw his work in linux kernel source. As you could imagine I bought this book and it didn't desappoint me like other kernel books did (he explains the concepts behind the design of the kernel scheduler very well).

I found this book in Mel Gorman's site when I was searching about Linux kernel internals. You can donwload this book from his site based on kernel 2.4 VM or get the printed edition which has notes about kernel 2.6 VM.You will need to have some knowledge about operating system internals before reading this book. It has approximately 200 theory pages and 500 source code documented pages.

In 2001, I started playing with LAMP (GNU/LiNUX, Apache, MySQL, PHP). Some tutorials and the php online documentation were a great help to getting started with this scripting language but they weren't enough.In 2003, I bought this book and it helped me a lot to get a strong knowledge of PHP programming. Also in 2003, I got my first job and my very first task was to participate in the development of three applications using PHP. This book is special to me.

This book is also known as "The Llama Book". Perl is one of my favorite programming languages. Perl is amazing but it could be a nightmare if you see code programmed by an upset guy.I found this book very interesting because you can read, read, read, and don't stop. It's not boring and if you are planning to learn Perl, I recommend this book.
